Welcome to the official website of the 2007 California Police Chiefs Association Conference, hosted by the Long Beach Police Department. Established in 1966, the California Police Chiefs Association is an organization that represents municipal law enforcement agencies in California, promoting the advancement of the science and art of police administration and crime prevention. Situated on California’s southern coast, Long Beach enjoys an average annual temperature of 74 degrees with 345 days of sunshine. The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach in the heart of the waterfront downtown business and entertainment district. The Trade Show will be held at the adjacent Convention Center. Convenient proximity to first-class accommodations, restaurants and coastal attractions such as the Queen Mary and Aquarium of the Pacific makes the Long Beach Convention Center an ideal local for this year’s conference.
Conference activities are open only to members and their spouses. The conference is open to Chiefs of Police, retired Chiefs, 2nds in Command and their spouses. The conference is not open to the general public and all vendors must be official sponsors/exhibitors. Non-member registration is restricted to specific dignitaries and law enforcement-related individuals invited to attend as guests of a member.
